Design and Build EarthLoc Modular Grid
EarthLoc® PFRP (Pultruded Fiber Reinforced Polymer) Modules are locked into an underground bridge-like grid that resists compression, overturning, uplifting, and shear. EarthLoc’s methodology employs the use of EarthLoc’s 101,000 psi pultruded FRP modules — that will never corrode or degrade — that are inter-connected and driven below grade to earth-lock massive tonnage of soil, further coupled with FRP stanchions inserted into the module stanchion-sleeve and driven deep into the Earth until they find a layer of stiff, firm clay wherein the stanchion will plug and hit “refusal” that occurs by the creation of a COMPRESSED BELL BOTTOM — typically 185,000 psf of compression resistance per stanchion — producing an inextricably-intertwined EarthLoc Modular Underground Grid-Bridge™. There is never any excavation. The possibility of settlement is REMOVED during installation. Every module and stanchion install is a load test. Complete uniformity. Why PFRP?
EarthLoc's Modular Grid parts are made of fiber reinforced polymer that are pultruded through dies. EarthLoc's lab-tested parts have 101,000 psi flexural yield strength, and have zero loss of yield strength in 500-yr accelerated weathering test. EarthLoc FRP yield strengths are nearly 3 times stronger than A36 steel and will NEVER rust, corrode or degrade.
